Basic Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs Potatoes peeled and cubed
- ½ cup Milk
- ¼ cup Butter melted
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
1. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
3. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until smooth.
4. Stir in the milk and melted butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
