Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef bones preferably with marrow
  • 2 units Carrots chopped
  • 2 units Celery stalks chopped
  • 1 unit Onion quartered
  • 3 cloves Garlic smashed
  • 2 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper to taste
  • 10 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Place the bones in a large pot and cover with water. Add the apple cider vinegar and let sit for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Add the carrots, celery, onion, and garlic to the pot.
  3. 3. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Skim off any foam that rises to the top.
  4. 4. Simmer for at least 8 hours, adding water as needed to keep the bones covered.
  5. 5. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh strainer and discard the solids.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
