Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice preferably jasmine or basmati
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add rice and salt, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and stir in butter.
