Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup Carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup Celery, sliced
  • 1 cup Onion, diced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Heavy cream

Dumplings

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. 1. Set Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add a bit of oil and cook chicken until browned.
  2. 2. Add carrots, celery, and onion. Cook until softened.
  3. 3. Pour in chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Close lid and set to high pressure for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. While the soup is cooking, mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Stir in milk and melted butter to form a dough.
  5. 5. Quick release the pressure. Set to sauté mode and stir in heavy cream and peas.
  6. 6. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the soup. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
