Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs
A classic Italian dish with rich tomato sauce and tender meatballs.

Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 800 g Canned Tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Meatballs
- 500 g Ground Beef
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup Breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoon Parsley, chopped
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add canned tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook meatballs until browned on all sides.
Add meatballs to the sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Serve over cooked spaghetti.
