Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes Russet or Yukon Gold
  • to taste salt
  • enough for frying vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Slice potatoes thinly using a mandoline slicer.
  2. 2. Rinse slices in cold water to remove starch.
  3. 3. Pat dry with paper towels.
  4. 4. Heat oil in deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. 5. Fry potato slices in batches until golden brown.
  6. 6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.
