  • 4 large eggs boiled and peeled
  • 500 g sausage meat
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for frying oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Boil the eggs for 6-7 minutes, then cool in ice water and peel.
  2. 2. Divide the sausage meat into 4 equal portions.
  3. 3. Flatten each portion and wrap around each boiled egg, ensuring it is fully covered.
  4. 4. Roll each sausage-wrapped egg in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the Scotch eggs until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm or cold.
