Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1 cup fish stock
  • 1 lb clams, scrubbed
  • 1 lb mussels, scrubbed
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb firm white fish, cut into chunks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  2. Add white wine, crushed tomatoes, and fish stock. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add clams and mussels, cover and cook until they open, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp and fish chunks, cook until just opaque, about 5 minutes more.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir in fresh parsley before serving.
