Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef stew meat cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups Carrots sliced
  • 2 cups Potatoes diced
  • 1 cup Celery sliced
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz can
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the beef over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the onions and cook until they are translucent.
  3. 3. Add the carrots, potatoes, celery, and cook for a few minutes.
  4. 4. Pour in the beef broth, water, and diced tomatoes.
  5. 5. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and basil.
  6. 6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  7. 7. Serve hot and enjoy!
