  • 1 cup Beer
  • 4 fillets White fish (like cod or haddock)

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Gradually whisk in the beer until the batter is smooth.
  4. Dip fish fillets into the batter, coating them evenly.
  5. Carefully place the coated fish into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
