  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 1 cup Chopped celery
  • 1 cup Chopped carrots
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, celery, and carrots. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. 2. Stir in the flour and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. 3. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the milk and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the soup is smooth.
  5. 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
