Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, ¼ cup water, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water until dissolved.
  3. Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and whisk until the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
